This Client was looking for a full refurbishment of the Master Bedroom En-suite, utilising some of the area of an adjacent box room as a dressing room. The key requirements were a Wet-room Style Shower Base and Twin Basins, with Storage and a minimalist contemporary finish. The internal partition walls forming the bathroom were remove and repositioned to create a room of suitable size from what was required whilst utilising space from the adjacent room to form a walk-in Dressing Room. The partition walls were constructed to conceal all the pipe-work and trimmed out to allow for the installation of two bespoke recessed mirrored cabinets over the basins
The new bathroom incorporated a 1200 fixed shower screen, leading to the Wet-room Shower Base with a zero entry shower pan. From our comprehensive knowledge and experience of creating reliable wet-room installations we appreciate the importance of the preparation of the wall and floor substrates to ensure the job will last without any of the potential problems associated with this type of job if the correct procedure it’s not followed. The room was fully tiled to walls and the intricate procedure for tiling to the floor within the wet-room is imperative. The ceiling was cloaked with a tasteful PVC Cladding with low energy recessed LED lighting and a high performance in-line fan. The room was fitted with twin wall hung vanity units and bespoke recessed mirrored wall cabinets to provide plenty of useful storage space. A colour coordinated towel rail with dual energy supply was fitted to provide a heated rail even when the central heating is not on. Electric under-floor heating was also installed.
